Rõstrum Exhibition at the Arts Asylum

Location: The Arts Asylum, 1535 Walnut St, Kansas City, MO

My Rõstrum series, inspired by the resilience of avian life and our unhoused neighbors, is currently on display at the Arts Asylum in the downtown Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City. Each piece explores themes of movement, adaptation, and community support. This exhibition was initially displayed at the Pendleton Arts Block for three months before moving to The Arts Asylum, where it continues to engage audiences with its thought-provoking narratives.

This exhibition connects audiences with diverse creative voices while supporting the community, with a portion of sales benefiting reStart Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness.

The Art of Business

I was honored to be invited by Middle Georgia State University to showcase my work for a month and engage with their visual arts students through an artist talk. The Art of Business highlights the importance of entrepreneurial skills for artists, blending creativity with practical knowledge to promote personal growth and community impact.

The Ampersand Guild

Location: 382b Cherry St, Macon, Ga

Date: 2017 - 2020

The Ampersand Guild was a special haven in downtown Macon for artists of all backgrounds to connect, collaborate, and thrive. This artist-run space quickly became a creative cornerstone, housing an art gallery, black box theater, private studios, and shared workspaces that welcomed around 200 artists—painters, musicians, poets, and performers alike. Though we had to close in 2020, the Guild’s spirit, continues through the impact we had on Macon’s artistic landscape and the lasting connections we forged within this vibrant community.

Dark Eden : Live Body Painting

Dark Eden was an immersive live body painting event that brought together artists, models, musicians, and performers, transforming human canvases into vibrant expressions of art. This unique gathering fostered a community for emerging talent, offering them a professional platform to connect, collaborate, and grow. The creative energy and collective spirit of Dark Eden laid the foundation for future initiatives, inspiring artistic collaboration across disciplines.
